What’s the big difference between aromatherapy machine and humidifier

Aromatherapy machines and humidifiers look similar in appearance, but their functions and materials are significantly different.

1.     Different functions

Aromatherapy machine: to diffuse aroma and assist in humidification;

Humidifier: humidification.

2.     Different materials

Aromatherapy machine: Generally made of corrosion-resistant polypropylene plastic (PP material);

Humidifier: Generally made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene plastic (ABS plastic) or styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (AS plastic).

3.     The amount of fog is different

Aromatherapy machine: The amount of mist produced by the aromatherapy machine is small, and the particles are fine and even, about 30ml/h;

Humidifier: The humidifier produces a large amount of mist, and the particles are large and heavy, about 200-300ml/h.

     4. Oscillation frequency is different

Aromatherapy machine: The aroma diffuser has a high vibration frequency;

Humidifier: Humidifier oscillation frequency is low.

Precautions for using aromatherapy machine:

1. If the aromatherapy machine you purchased does not have special instructions, generally just add purified water;

2. Aromatherapy machines have special essential oils, and you need to purchase water-soluble essential oils with reliable brands and guaranteed quality;

3. Do not add other substances to the aroma diffuser without authorization, such as vinegar, disinfectants, etc.;

4. The essential oils used may block the mist holes, so the atomizer tablets in the aromatherapy machine need to be cleaned regularly;

5. The aromatherapy machine should not be used for too long. If symptoms such as coughing and difficulty breathing occur, you should stop using it immediately and open the window for ventilation;

6. Clean and disinfect regularly to prevent the growth of bacteria.
